Went to last night’s show at the Sands Centre, Carlisle – brilliant! I have seen most UK leading big bands on many occasions and I have to say that you lot appear to be the happiest bunch of musicians on stage that I have ever seen. Secondly Kevin is by far the most charismatic band leader I have ever seen and he should build on his many positives.

As two 80+ year olds we were delighted to be taken back to the 40s and 50s - to music we remember with happy memories. Your programme was excellent and we enjoyed your presentation (Tykes ourselves, Leeds Loiners!). Your musicians were great and obviously enjoyed themselves as much as we did.
